Luci Harrison captures the rare, illusive and beautiful. Her creative ability in photography ranks her among New Zealand’s best.  Highly qualified, and with 20 years experience, Luci is acclaimed for her style and professionalism. In 1998 she won the very prestigious James White Scholarship, and travelled to New York to study the latest printing techniques. This enabled her to combine her talents in art and photography; it fired her passion for capturing on film, people in their most elusive moments.

Among her many remarkable achievements as a creative photographer, Luci has photographed published books such as: Like An Apple A Day and Like Chocolate For Women. She has also won Gold and Silver awards in the NZIPP National Print Judging and the Kodak Gold awards; all testaments to her creative ability. She is a qualified Wedding and Portrait Photographer and has a Masters of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography.  Her strong interest in weddings and portraits led her at one stage, to open Imajinativ Photography studio in Takapuna, Auckland, employing Fine Art Photography graduates creating an international quality studio specializing in glamour, weddings and portraits.

Fascinated by people and the way they relate to each other, she has also travelled with her camera to remote countries such as India, Morocco, Spain, Italy, England, Ireland, Mexico, Croatia, America, studying and capturing the variances of everyday life in these different cultures. She has photographed weddings in Fiji, Bali, LA, New York, Queenstown, Auckland, Wellington, Bay of Islands. Luci just loves to travel.
